Every day during the summer, from May 1 to October 31, our buses depart from our Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) headquarters and travel to some of the most picturesque locations in the area. When it comes to transportation to Truso Valley, Juta, and Darial Gorge, our buses are the most economical and convenient choice. A transfer service is provided by buses. Participate in the hikes and relish the independence of independent exploration. At 2200 meters above sea level, Juta is one of the highest mountainous locations in Georgia. People come in hopes of conquering the breathtaking Chaukhi Mountains and soaking in one of the best views in all the Caucasus. From Juta you can hike to Chaukhi Lake, Chaukhi Pass, Abudelauri Lakes or Roshka, Shatili and even Tusheti.

There is not enough space in this paragraph to tell you the whole story of how this tour is the best way to feel Georgia in a short time. We will meet you at Kutaisi or Tbilisi Airport and take you to the hotel in Tbilisi. On the same day, we have a Tbilisi walking tour with pick-up at 05:15 PM. You can explore the city on your fourth day at 6:15 AM or 5:15 PM if you arrive late. We will pick you up on the second day at 8:15 AM and take you to the Caucasus mountains. First, we visit the reservoir; the castle can enjoy rafting or horse riding. Sometimes, we can see the sunset. We have an overnight stay in the Kazbegi or Gudauri mountains. On the third day, we go hiking at 12:15 PM. We explore Gveleti and Juta in the summer. We can not go to Juta in winter. We return to Tbilisi at 10-11 PM. We will pick you up at 10:15 AM on the fourth day. We explore the Kakheti and return to Tbilisi afterward. We will take you back to the airport on any following day comfortable for you.

Chaukhi Pass 3341 m is dividing Kazbegi region and Khevsureti. It is compelling due to a proximity of imposing Chaukhi massif with its many sharp peaks. At the other side of the pass, you will find meadows with intriguing rock formations (Roshka stones) and Abudelauri lakes – three beautiful alpine lakes with different colors (green, blue and white). Chaukhi pass is one of the highest and most beautiful passes in Georgia. We will do a trek from Juta village to Chaukhi Pass and back to show you how beautiful it is there.

Colorful lakes of Abudelauri are located at the head of the gorge of the river Abudelauri in Khevsureti at 2600 meters above sea level. Lake Abudelauri includes three lakes – Green Lake, Blue Lake and White Lake. The Green and Blue Lakes are located almost side by side, while the White Lake is located a little further away, at the foot of the Chaukhi Massif, and has a relatively more difficult access. Lake Abudelauri is 7 km away from the village of Roshka, it is the shortest and easiest way to visit this place.

We will pass Zhinvali Reservoir, Ananuri Fortress town, stop at the confluence of Black and White Aragvi, visit the Friendship Arch. And the main goal is the village of Juta, one of the highest points – 2200 meters above sea level. Where you can walk six kilometers one way, Chaukhi ridge is located near the village, you can see the mountain massif of Chaukhi lake on the visible hill of the Caucasus ridge, near the river Bakurkhevi. Discover Georgia’s breathtaking landscapes on this mountain trek. Leave Tbilisi accompanied by a local guide and, in your four wheel drive vehicle with driver, ride up Georgia’s dramatic military road to Stepantsminda, also known as Kazbegi. Official name of Kazbegi is Stepantsminda. Surounded by gigantic mountains, Kazbegi is a picturesque settlement overlooked by the biggest peak of all – Mount Kazbek (5047m) – The Sameba Church in Gergeti is beautifully situated on the hill above the town and provides splendid views of Mt. Kazbek. The region, with its many valleys and peaks is one of the most popular walking destinations in Georgia. The nearby Chaukhi Mountains provide superb rock-climbing, with numerous routes. The Gudauri ski resort located just the other side of the Cross Pass on the southern slopes of the Caucasus offers the best skiing and heliskiing in the Caucasus. The village of Juta is one of the highest settlements (2200 m) in the municipality of Kazbegi, and is located 24 km from Stepantsminda (8 km of paved road, and the remainder is a dirt road). The Chaukhi mountain range, located near the village, is situated on the main ridge of the Caucasus mountain range, at the source of the river Bakurkhevi.

This is an eight day trekking tour from Omalo (Tusheti) to Kazbegi region. This is one of the most popular trekking tours in the whole country owing to the fact that the landscapes seen during the tour are truly unique and do not look like other mountainous landscapes from Europe. Tusheti is one of the most remote regions of Georgia which can only be reached during 6 months a year while during the other six months the road is closed owing to avalanches. The architecture there with its beautiful towers and local black stones creates special atmosphere. It is important to note that the first and the last days of the tour will be dedicated for transfers while the total number of trekking days equals to six. From these six days the guests will have to stay in tents only for two nights while the other overnight stays will be done in guesthouses. The trekking guide, tents, yoga mats, dinner, lunch and breakfast as well as luggage transportation with horses are all included in the price.
