The Panorama Route tour travels via the spectacular scenery of Kowyn’s Pass to Graskop the southernmost point of the Blyde River Canyon. Gorge Lift, which descends 51m to the bottom of the gorge in a glass-fronted elevator. Enjoy an interpretative tour through the indigenous forest along the wooden walkways and suspension bridges with interactive exhibits. During this tour you will visit the Small Drakensberg range viewing God’s window, Lisbon falls, Bourke’s Luck potholes as well as the Blyde river canyon. You will stop at all these sites where you will get time to take in and enjoy natures beauty about 40 minutes at each stop. During this busy day you'll stop at Harrie’s pancakes for a delicious and very needed lunch on the way back from the canyon. This Extended Tour departs Nelspruit, Whiteriver or Hazyview in the morning and head toward the small Drakensberg mountain range to take in the stunning sights of Mac-Mac Falls, The Pinnacle,God’s Window, ,Lisbon Falls, Bourke’s Luck Potholes,Three Rondawels and the most awesome Blyde River Canyon. The Panorama Tour visits well known sites in an air-conditioned vehicle with a qualified guide who has good knowledge of the area. Spectacular views of the Blyde River Canyon, and out over the endless Lowveld beyond will not disappoint. Guests are taken along the edge of the escarpment to look out points offering magnificent views, including God’s Window, Wonderview and the Three Rondawels. Along the route guests visit the famous Bourke’s Luck Potholes – deep cylindrical cavities formed by thousands of years of water erosion at the confluence of the Blyde and Treur Rivers. At lunchtime the tour will stop in Graskop for guests to enjoy lunch at a restaurant, and, if time permits, browse the many curio stalls and shops in this little village. South of Graskop, where the Sabie River rises there are many beautiful waterfalls which we will visit whilst making our way back to Hazyview. Bottled mineral waters are provided during the journey.
