During this tour we visit a local coffee plantation located in the nearby city of Jocotenango. From the office you will follow a local guide on the ATV’s for about a 15 minute ride to the coffee plantation “La Azotea” located in city of Jocotenango. Once at La Azotea, you will receive a bilingual tour of the plantation where you are able to learn and see the various processes of the coffee producing, making, and packaging that goes into serving a good cup of coffee. The coffee tour in the plantation lasts about 1 hour once finished you will walk around the plantation with the local guide to see check out the plants and you could also grab a drink or snack. Once finished at the plantation you will hop back on the ATVs and head over to "El Cerro de la Cruz" to visit one of Antigua’s most well-known and visited landmarks. After getting a close-up bird’s eye view of the colonial city, we hop back on the vehicles and head back to our office.

The Xtreme Circumnav is a full day boat tours on our 45ft powerboat that goes right around Antigua – make sure you count our 365 beaches! After passing the North Sound area, the first stop is Stingray City Marine Park where you will spend 45m-1hr in the water with these incredible rays & other marine life. We continue to Green Island, for lunch on the beach. We then head south to the historic Nelson's Dockyard (we don’t get off the boat) where the Captain points out all the colonial structures & gives a short talk. The 2nd snorkeling session is at the Pillars of Hercules, a fantastic spot where the limestone boulders enter the water at the mouth of Nelson’s Dockyard, base of the Shirley Heights cliff. The last stop is at the magnificent Rendezvous Bay, a secluded beach on the south side of the island, where you can swim, snorkel or beach comb & enjoy our homemade delicious rum punch

The natural wonder of Devils Bridge and the restored Historical Nelsons Dockyard are two of the many interesting sites during this tour. Driving through the villages on the southern side of the island which is home to the Antigua Black Pineapple (dubbed the sweetest in the world) is a bonus while on tour.

This tour, by Due South Travels, is a 2+ hour guided walking tour of Antigua, one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites. Our local guide will give you tons of great information, including the history of the city and its architecture, the geography, culture, and religion of historical and modern day Guatemala. During the tour we will visit and discuss Antigua's significant landmarks. We will talk about the volcanoes and earthquakes Guatemala has experienced, the Mayan ethnic groups, the Spanish invasion, and modern day life here. We are different from the four hour walking tours offered in town because we don't take you shopping (too much pressure!), however, our local guides would love to bring you AFTER the tour if you'd like a thorough explanation of jade or if you're interested in bargaining for some beautiful handicrafts. You'll also receive plenty of other suggestions for things to do in and around town.

First stop is ¨El Cerro de La Cruz¨ at a height of about 5,000 ft. above sea level, this is one of Antigua´s most famous landmarks and attractions where we stop for a great aerial view of colonial Antigua and the villages, volcanoes, and nature located around the valley. Our second stop is ¨Earth Lodge¨ This is an Avocado plantation and ECO-lodge found in the mountain village of El Hato. After visiting this marvelous place we will hop on a pick up truck towards our final stop which is ¨Alta Mira¨. This is a unique eco-park located in one of the highest mountains around Antigua at an elevation of about 7,600 ft. we take a short hike to enjoy more amazing views of the valley and volcanoes with lots of places to take some amazing pictures. Here we take some time to visit the famous “HANDS” spend some time hiking in the woods, bicycle canopy, etc.
